Let’s elaborate more. Would any girl put her picture in swimsuit on the roof top of her house? elmante2 bi2oul la2. Then why does she post it on her profile, where most of the people don’t care about her activities? Or, if someone is in a relationship, would they shout and scream in their neighborhood telling everyone that they are in a relationship? also elmante2 bi2oul la2. Then why that status keeps changing or your profile, when your “friends” really don’t care?

Or let’s say you’re out with your friends and your parents call you to ask where you are, and check on you; whether you tell them or not, you turn to  your friends and complain about your parents intruding your privacy; but you check in on foursquare and don’t care about privacy.

If you had a shower, would you call all your friends and tell them? Is showering an accomplishment? Or is it something you rarely do? Then why tweet it?

But, to me, the most irritating online behavior is “tobyeed el tanajer”. “yiii shou helou festanik w lebe2lik ktir” says a girl to another, but in fact she’s so envious la daraje enou farjet el soura lal kel yalli 7awalaye w 2eletloun “bisharafkoun sheyfeen ashna3, w mfakra 7ala shi”. Layki ya “7abibte” fike mata3mele comment, mannik majboura, tsarafy ka2anik mashefti hal post w bala matetzeke. 3anjad enou “tobyeed el tanajer” ktir zeyed hal iyem, khasatan laman nkoun mna3ref enou A mesh ktir metfe2 ma3 B bel 7ayet el tabi3iye, bas byetghazalou bi ba3doun edem el jameheer.

Another irritating online behavior is the double personalities people have, i.e. online they show as someone, and in real life they are someone else. Some show as very smart when they post something online, but in real life they are not that smart. Anyway, after all they had time to google before tweeting, posting or replying. Another group of people are those who we know really well, you know their standards, their likes and dislikes; but all of those disappear when they are online. For example, and this is a real example of someone I know, someone who never curses, but brags online about watching an uncensored movie kalimetou men el zenar w nezil.

Am sure there are so many other examples/situations. Please share them.

It’s amazing how one moment changes your whole life, your goals, and your plans. Even before welcoming the girls we had to go through a lot of changes; after all, their coming was not planned nor expected, it was the most beautiful gift we’ve received, and this gift needs to be taken care of. I had to quit university, and take care of mom especially when she was hospitalized for one month before giving birth. Then came the moment we’ve all been waiting for: the moment when the doctor said “the mom and kids are good and healthy, mabrouk!”

Talk about sleepless nights since then; yes, sometimes 48hrs pass and we don’t get one hour sleep. Oh caffeine, thank you so much for doing your job back then! Coffee, tea, chocolate, coke, was what we mostly consumed. Let’s do some math here: 3 babies, you have to feed each one every 3hrs, and change diapers, plus laundry, sterilizing milk bottles etc. Full-time job! That’s how we spent the first six months.

If you think with time when they grow up things get easier, you’re mistaken. Each phase has it’s own troubles and blessings. No more sleepless nights, thank God; but you have to train them to eat by spoon, train them to walk, potty training, sleepless nights hit back when they’re sick. We were always (and still are) on the watch so they don’t fall, or chew on hazardous stuff, you name it. And with all our efforts to stay cautious they locked themselves in the bathroom, they fell off the bed, they locked mom outside of the house, they broke the table’s glass in the living room, etc. That’s why we’ve done some “re-decoration” to our house: the living room is a playground, the kitchen is messed up, the bedrooms are crowded, and the walls are filled with my sisters’ drawings.

But all those troubles fade away by a single hug or kiss from my 3Js. Or when I’m at work and they call me to tell me “I love you”, my day moves smoother.

Life when there’s kids around is a whole different world. You work more to improve your personality. You need to be strong, cause they count on you. You need to be patient, cause they need to grow up and learn new stuff. You need to be a good teacher, cause you never know when they ask you something. You need to speak the truth, you can’t lie to a kid. All in all, you must set a good example, cause you are their role model, and they look up to no one but you.

Every day holds a new adventure with my sisters. Every day holds a new experience. Is it worth it? TOTALLY!

But the real friend is the one that lasts, right? Not the one who just turns around and leaves for the most stupid reasons. And believe me, you never know exactly if your friend is really a friend until you face troubles. Let’s say you had a little misunderstanding, and it felt bad, as if the world ended; but because you have a strong relationship, you were able to solve that little issue. The beautiful thing is that after such an incident your friendship is now stronger than ever before, and yes your world is back to life.

But there’s this type of friendship that’s really confusing. There’s this friend you really really really love, but… Let’s elaborate more on this subject. That person is always ready to help you, would never let you down, always there to cheer you up, shows you how special you are, and you try to do the same in return. That person is the one you care about the most, and one thing you know for sure you never want that person upset or bothered. So far so good? But at times, when you just need to talk to him/her, they are not there. Sorry, allow me to rephrase that last sentence: they are there, they exist, but they ignore you. How do you feel when that happens? You start to question everything, and all those memories you shared. You even blame yourself, and wonder if it’s something you have done that bothered them. Ask them if there’s something wrong? Well you’re somehow sure what their answer will be, and you know it’s not going to solve matters at all. Fight for that friendship, or let time solve it? I absolutely have no idea.

1- the ones who tweet links and only links. They suddenly pop out of nowhere and fill the timeline with tens of tweets in a time range of few minutes. In a way or another: they are spamming me.

2- the ones who use twitter as a chat tool (or a flirt tool ). They tweet the lamest tweets ever.

3- the ones who tweet everything.

And let’s say my favorite is the third type. Why? Because I’m 100% sure they’re real people behind those Twitter handles. In their tweets, they share informative articles, videos, blogs, pictures, etc. But they also share some information about themselves: their current mood, what’s their favorite food or drink, #nowplaying and you get to know their taste in music, and they engage in a tiny chat with other tweeps over different subjects.

But, one day on Twitter, I read that Gigalb are running a contest and one of the two prizes is the Nokia N8!!! To enter the contest, I had to:

1. “Like” their Facebook page (  here ).
2. After “liking” their Facebook Page, the second step was to leave a comment stating why I want to win the phone. And get people to like my comment (for every 10 likes, I get a ticket for the draw and increase the chance of winning)
3. On Twitter I had to tweet the following message – RT @GIGAlb: I’m entering to win a Nokia C7 or N8. Just do the same! http://bit.ly/g0bdlZ

Those steps were easy except for the part to get my friends to like my comment. To do that, I spammed my friends! I posted daily the link on FB and asked them to like my comment. Total likes was 34. I thought I’d never win, especially that one of the contestants had more than 110 likes.

Results day:

I logged in to Facebook and Twitter, and waited for the results. Then came this

“Her”??? Is there a chance for me to win? I replied:

After two minutes

I read the name over and over again to make sure it’s me and yay it was me

After few days, I got my N8 (thank you @CAbN)

Now after using the N8 for almost 2 weeks, here’s what I think: AMAZING! The all-in-one device.

(I would be brief about it, since there are many articles and reviews like this)

- Camera (for images and videos): very clear, perfect quality. And here’s an example

- Battery life: perfect, especially for someone like me who’s music player or radio is on all the time, Tweeting, taking pictures, playing games

- Multitasking: Yes! You can use as many applications as you can. And with Opera Mobile, internet browsing is wonderful.

- Music: sound is loud and nice yes you can really enjoy music with this device

If you want to get yourself a mobile phone, I highly recommend the N8.

With all due respect to Blackberry and IPhone, Nokia is the best. Why? Because they have everything you want. And no, not because they have a huge selection of models, but they just have a special touch in their devices. I mean, just like the Mercedes-Benz, their sports cars have a touch of their luxurious cars, and vice-versa. The touch of the Mercedes-Benz. Neither Nokia nor Mercedes-Benz are flawless, but they just make the use of their products a joy.

Blackberries were designed for a special kind of people, and so was the IPhone. But the Nokia was designed for all purposes. Those people excel in the mobile phones industry. Through the N95, E5, and the N8 , they showed us that everything can be given to us in one device. The 5megapixels with Carl Zeiss optics camera in the N95 and E5; but the 12megapixels also with Carl Zeiss optics in the N8. Need I talk about the specifications? NO, google them, and I’m not a techy person, just a normal user. And yes I do care about the camera in my mobile device. With my 3 year old sisters around, I always have to take pictures. Iphone cameras’ picture quality is good, but the Blackberry’s I don’t find it so good. Or what about the storage?  16GB of built-in storage for the N8. SWEET!!! And internet services (chat, e-mail, surfing) are made easy and fun.With the N8, you can put all your devices in one.

So, if I want to change my N95, it will either be to the E5 or the N8. Who am I kidding??? Definitely the N8. But the budget is tight this month, so I’ll wait.
